Mideast in Pictures: Int'l Chinese Language Day marked in MENA countries

CAIRO, April 21 (Xinhua) -- International Chinese Language Day, established by the United Nations in 2010, was observed on Monday to promote multilingualism, the equal use of the United Nations' six official working languages, and cultural diversity.

Events, featuring calligraphy, workshops, and cultural performances, were held in several Middle Eastern and North African countries, underscoring the spirit of cultural dialogue.
