Over 70 migrants missing after boat capsizes off Libya: Italian media

ROME, April 5 (Xinhua) -- More than 70 migrants were reported missing after a boat carrying around 105 people capsized in waters within the Libyan search-and-rescue region on Sunday, Italian media reported.

Two bodies were recovered and 32 people were rescued following the shipwreck, reported ANSA news agency, adding that the survivors and the bodies were later taken to Lampedusa, southern Italy.

The boat had departed from Libya before overturning in the central Mediterranean.
