Von der Leyen warns U.S. tariffs on EU would hurt transatlantic supply chains

BRUSSELS, July 12 (Xinhua) -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned that the United States' 30 percent tariffs on EU exports would disrupt essential transatlantic supply chains, harming businesses, consumers and patients on both sides of the Atlantic, pledging to introduce countermeasures if required.
